Inland Valley Recovery Services offers mental health services on an outpatient basis. Services include:

  • Therapy for Couples, which focuses on the issues, and problems that exist in the relationship between two people. Therapy can help you and your partner identify the areas of conflict and stress in your relationship, as well as what changes are needed for each of you to feel more satisfied in the relationship;

  • Individual Therapy, in which you can explore and address areas of emotional, social and relationship difficulties that are affecting you. Areas that are often addressed in individual treatment are: relationship issues, self-esteem, depression, grief, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, job stress, life crises, divorce recovery, anger, childhood abuse/trauma;

  • Family Therapy, focuses on helping families change and improve the way families interact by working to increase understanding and facilitate communication within the family unit. Effective family therapy does not place the blame on any one family member. Instead, as an important member of your own family, you are each encouraged to express and explore your feelings and become more aware of your role in the family system;

  • Child/Adolescent Therapy, Sometimes kids, like adults, can benefit from therapy. Therapy can help kids develop problem-solving skills and teach them the value of seeking help. Therapists can help kids and families cope with stress and a variety of emotional and behavioral issues. Many kids need help dealing with school stress, such as homework, test anxiety, bullying, or peer pressure. Others need help to discuss their feelings about family issues, particularly if there is a major transition, such as a divorce, move, or serious illness.
