Detoxification - How long is the program?

Typically withdrawal management lasts for 5-10 days depending on medical necessity and funding source.

Detoxification - How much does it cost?

Please click on the funding tabs option of the website. Several factors determine the cost of treatment, including level of care and duration of stay. Contact administration if you have additional questions.

Detoxification - What medications are used for sub acute?

Medication regimens are determined by IVRS' Medical Physician on duty, on a case-by-case basis, and may include Ativan; Clonodine; Compazine; Immodium; Tylenol or Motrin; Pepcid A/C; Robaxin; Donnatal; Folic Acid; and Thiamine. IVRS' also offers a Suboxone for those meeting the criteria.  Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT) is also available for those clients that are interested including vivitrol

Residential - How long is the program?

The treatment duration is based on medical necessity according to ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria. Each client is assessed at the onset of treatment to determine the length of treatment. Residential - How much does it cost?

Residential - Can we have visitors?

Yes. Visiting takes place on Sundays from 1pm to 5pm for the womens' program and Saturday 1pm to 5pm for the mens' program. Conditions apply.

Residential - Can we exercise?

Yes. Walking and recreation at the local park. There is a scheduled exercise time every morning for the clients.

Residential - Do we cook our own meals?

No. IVRS has a commercial kitchen that prepares three hot meals each day.  In addition, snacks are provided as needed.  For those individual with special dietary needs, IVRS is able to accommodate.  The Chef will meet with the client to discuss the clients dietary needs and establish a plan.  

Residential - Can I work while I'm there?

Yes. In some cases, with prior approval from the Treatment Team, clients are permitted to work once they have been in treatment for 45-60 days.

Can I bring my car?

Yes. After 45 days with prior approval from appropriate staff.

Is there a store or source for commodities?

We have snack and soda machines on-site. There are times when clients are permitted to go to the local store.

How many people to a room?

Spacious rooms up to Four (4) clients. Each room has their own bathroom accommodations.

Can I bring my laptop or cellphone?

No Laptops permitted for safety reasons. There is a computer on site for client use.

You can have your personal cell phone.

IVRS is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged cell phones or accessories.

Each client must follow the cell phone policies while in treatment.

Can we smoke cigarettes or vape?

Yes, in designated areas outside of the building.

Can we watch TV?

Yes. At designated times.

Clients with Children - What is the age limit of children we can bring with us?

Men or women are permitted up to two (2) children aged 0-12 years.

Clients with Children - Is there a daycare for the children?

Yes. We have a Childcare Supervisor. In addition, all clients with children alternate watching the children daily.

Clients with Children - Can my children go to school while there?

Yes. Specific information about schools in the area will be available to you once you get to the program.

Residential -What food items can I bring to the residential program?

No food is allowed in rooms except for items from the approved food listed below.

The client must have a tub no larger than 18 gallons- with a lid to store their food in.  The  client is responsible for bringing their own tub.

  • Instant coffee
  • Powder creamer
  • Cup of noodles (12)
  • Top Ramen (12) 
  • Oatmeal/cream of wheat (Ind. Packs)
  • 1 case of bottled water
  • Tuna/chicken/beef in a  pouch (12)
  • Powder bars
  • Hot sauce
  • Mac & Cheese cups
  • Beans in a pouch
  • Popcorn (Ind. Packets)

Please be aware that all items must be in a container, or bagged.

What should I bring with me if I am being admitted to Detox or Residential?

You can Bring:

  • Approximately 5-7 days of appropriate clothing (Laundry provided onsite)
  • 30 days of necessary medications
  • Hygiene products, including hairdryer, flat iron (if you need them)

Do Not Bring:

  • Blankets, pillows, towels or stuffed animals
  • Any food items that are not on the approved list
  • Mouthwash with alcohol
  • Laptop or I-pads
